Wellesley Middle School, Wellesley, MA

  • Project Type: Feasibility Study

The original Wellesley Middle School was constructed in 1950 and provided an 116,000 square foot facility to serve Junior High School educational needs. From that year until 1983, a total of 115,000 square feet of additions were constructed. For 15 years, no major additions had taken place and KBA was called in to conduct a feasibility study for the Middle School. The study focused on assessing not only the anticipated pupil growth but also assessing the existing building capacity to allow for a quality educational program to be provided to the students.
