KBA is providing OPM services for the study, design, and construction of a New K-5 Elementary School. The project design focuses on a new 21st century learning facility that consists of a three-story academic wing as well as a gymnasium, media center, cafetorium, and new play fields.

The project was procured under Chp. 149a CM-at-Risk to expedite the construction process. Included in the Construction Managerís scope was a renovation of a parochial school to house students while the existing school was demolished and new school was constructed. Multiple early release packages, including swing space renovation, demolition, foundations, and steel allowed for the project to maintain its aggressive schedule.

OPM services include management and oversight of the new school project, along with planning and management of swing space needs during construction. OPM services also include coordination between the City and the MSBA regarding project funding, contractor procurement, budgeting, and scheduling.

The project is currently tracking LEED Gold certification.
